RTProjects is a suicide intervention charity. Founded in 2007 by people with lived experience of poor mental health and suicidal thoughts.

We use the arts to support people towards recovery. By taking part in both group and one to one workshops people learn to express themselves through a variety of media such as music, painting, poetry, or sculpture while learning about a range of interventions to help them to improve their own mental health.

We operate from ‘The Open Art Surgery’ in Gilesgate, Durham. A fully equipped artist studio. Sessions are facilitated by trained arts and mental health practitioners.

We are an independent registered charity and without your support we would be unable to continue our life saving work.
